Jason Giordano named managing partner
MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. (Dec. 9, 2013) — Judelson, Giordano & Siegel (JGS), a full service accounting and business consulting firm for more than 80 years, announced today the appointments of Rob Unger and Domenick T. DelRosso as partners. The firm also announced Jason Giordano will succeed Frank Giordano Jr. as the firm’s managing partner.
Jason Giordano said his new role along with the promotions of Unger and DelRosso represent a new generation of leadership for the firm, which is rich in history.
“Rob and Domenick have distinguished themselves here with their intelligence, work ethic and integrity,” said Jason Giordano. “I am eager to work in concert with them and the other partners as we write a new chapter of history for this great firm.”
Since joining the firm in 1996, Unger has served in several roles, including audit manager and manager of forensic accounting. He specializes in accounting and auditing, business advisory services, tax planning and preparation. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Unger is a past board member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) and is currently a member of the board of directors of the Dispute Resolution Center, which is part of the Unified Court System’s statewide network serving residents of Orange, Putnam, Sullivan and Ulster counties to promote peaceful resolution of legal disputes. Unger is active with the Orange County Chamber of Commerce. He is a cum laude graduate of Marywood University, Scranton, Pa.
DelRosso joined the firm in 2003 and has served as manager of taxation. He specializes in tax planning and strategy for business and individual clients. He is a member of the AICPA and a member of the board of directors of the local chapter of the NYSSCPA. DelRosso is an active member of the Wallkill East Rotary Club. He graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s in Accounting from Mount Saint Mary College and has a master’s in Taxation from Golden Gate University, San Francisco.

Jason Giordano holds a master’s in Taxation with honors from the Washington School of Law, Utah, and graduated magna cum laude from Bentley University, Waltham, Mass., with a bachelor’s in Accounting. He is a member of the NYSSCPA and the AICPA. He currently sits on the board of directors of several local civic and charitable organizations.
